The Woodlands Are Calling and You Should Answer.

Just outside of Salisbury, five minutes from the highways and thirty minutes from Ocean City, Loblolly Landing is at the end of a closed road and surrounded by five acres of mixed pines. This rustic woodland hideaway is a perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. Relax in a vintage Airstream stocked with the works or safely overnight in a private spot with your own self-contained small camper.

Leave the world behind. Listen to songbirds sing and watch squirrels scurry about the treetops. Explore the woodlands. Stroll our gently maintained trail traversing forest and farmland. Keep an eye out for deer, foxes, bunnies and so much more. See brilliant country sunsets from the end of the lane or fields, watch incredible military aircraft fly directly overhead during weekly PAX River maneuvering sessions, or just simply do nothing at all.

If you’re looking for a cookie-cutter or corporate experience this isn’t it. Loblolly Landing is not a campground. The Airstream wasn’t purchased for the purpose of renting. These woodlands are our home and this is our camper. Both living here and going camping bring us much happiness, so recently we thought it’d be nice to share that with you.

Hello?

  • Airstreamin' SBY Accomodations: "Persephone Pearl"

Step back in time and camp in a vintage Airstream, but with all the modern amenities. Grill dinner in the wild on the Blackstone under a canopy of trees. Lounge around on an outdoor sofa by the glow of rustic lanterns & soft string lighting. Brew morning espresso at the breakfast station & make evening drinks outside at the well appointed cocktail bar. Of course there’s a microwave or airfryer for quick meals and even a KitchenAid stand mixer should you get the itch to whip up tasty treats. It’s all here. The only thing missing is you.

  • Overnight Traveler and Short Stay Parking: "The Small Spot"

Our rural location provides safe parking to overnight in a peaceful woodland setting with close & convenient access to the highways. This is a quiet alternative to rest stops or Wal-marts for travelers passing through. It’s also appropriate for short stay visitors attending local events whom will be out & about during the days but need a place for evening rest. Your small RV, tiny trailer or campervan must be completely self-contained, no exceptions. There are no hookups, no bathrooms, and aside from a small picnic table, no amenities. We do encourage you to stretch your legs on the trails & enjoy nature while you’re here!

The Eastern Shore Is Your Oyster.

Aside from the beaches there are plenty of things to get into. Pick a brewery, any brewery! Test your palate at a local winery and find legit farm to table produce at the plethora of farmstands - the kind where there isn't a label saying so because it literally just came from the ground. Play a round of golf at one of the many courses. Take a ferry ride to Smith Island for a piece of to-die-for cake or have the best seafood of your life in Crisfield, seriously nothing compares to a Chesapeake Bay Crabcake.

Stay At Loblolly Landing While You Experience It All.

You’ll feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, but so much good stuff is here on Delmarva. The coast is an easy thirty minute drive. See wild ponies up close at Assateague Island. Stroll the boardwalk in Ocean City, ride the ferriswheel and chow down on Thrashers fries (say yes to vinegar). Keep cruising and party on at Dewey. Drive a little more and wander around quaint Bethany or shop 'til you drop at the Rehoboth outlets. There's much more to the beaches than just beach.

  • Good timber does not grow with ease. The stronger wind, the stronger trees. The further sky, the greater length. The more the storm, the more the strength. By sun and cold, by rain and snow, in trees and men good timbers grow.

    Douglas Malloch, Good Timber

  • Oh heavenly day. All the clouds blew away. Got no trouble today... The smile on your face I've been longing to see. It's enough for me baby, it's enough for me... We'll have ourselves a heavenly day, lay here and watch the trees sway. Oh heavenly day.

    Patty Griffin, Heavenly Day

  • And into the forest, I go to lose my mind and find my soul.

  • When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world.

  • In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful.
